I just want to know. Are any of you excited for the Nintendo Switch coming out in March? I kind of am. I won't be able to get it at launch, which isn't a real bummer considering there are only two launch titles I want. What is worrying is that I've heard the Joy-cons by themselves are kind of uncomfortable and they look uncomfortable, even for my small hands. Those things are even smaller than the Wii Remote a pro controller can be used in place of them which is a great relief. The price of some of the accessories however...
I won't go too deep into the Switch itself but I will talk about some of the games I'm excited for.
Zelda Breath Of The Wild
It's a Zelda game and sadly the only Zelda game I've had the privilege of playing myself was Twilight Princess but it was an absolute joy and I would probably play it again if I still had the game. Breath of the wild just looks stunning and the voice acting is amazing as well. I didn't look too deep into this because I don't want to ruin the game for myself and I won't be watching any Youtube videos of it before I buy it, either.

Just Dance 2017
Now while I haven't played every Just Dance game in existence the ones I have played have been a blast! I've played Just Dance 2,4, 2014 and 2015 and those are all well worth the money and losing your breath over. I've played the Just Dance 2017 demo and until I buy the game that's all I want to see of it because, like with Zelda, I don't want to spoil it.

You saw this one coming....
Super Mario Odyssey
Must I say anything for this one? I could just direct you to the trailer and let it speak for itself. Not only is that the best and more expressive that Mario has ever been but we're going outside of the Mushroom Kingdom AND it's open world! It's not linear like Super Mario 3D World! I hated it being so linear in stages I wanted to just explore and stay a while to enjoy the music - the stage Switchboard Scramble is a nice example for me. While it is depressing to see it coming out so late I'm also kind of relieved. It means I don't have to worry too much about the game being spoiled by any and everyone who's ever laid a finger on it... yet

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
No, the characters are not the main reason I want this. The main reason I want this is the vastly improved battle mode! The battle mode in Mario Kart 8 is... disappointing to say the least. It didn't feel hectic, fun or like a man-hunt at all. Heck, even playing online failed to fill me with the same joy as the Wii version did. And the fact that they used regular courses makes me think that battle mode was just an after thought for them. However, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe we have actual battle stages, items that seem to be strictly for battle mode, KING BOO, BOWSER JR, Dry Bones and the Inklings. It also seems they've brought Luigi's Mansion and a true Bob-omb Battle back into the game. Now get to work on that Shine Thief mode, Nintendo. Please?
Anyway, while some people are very doubtful of ti I'm pretty hopeful. They showed us a lot at the presentation and I highly doubt they'd give us a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that ONLY had an improved battle mode, new characters and two item slots. Now I was fine with having only one item at a time. I don't use the items very much in a grand prix and I think it would've made online play a little better if the item system didn't give the middle finger to players who fell to sixth place or below.
That being said - it would be nice if they did bring back new cups - one with all new tracks and one with retro. It would also be nice to have more Nintendo themed tracks because there's only so many retro tracks they can do.
I could go on about this game all day so I'm going to stop here.

Arms
Yep, there is literally a game called Arms in development but hey, it's not the worst or most boring name for a game. Had I not seen the trailer I would've thought it had something to do with guns. This fighting game had a weird presentation I'll admit but after watching the whole trailer I knew it was worth considering a buy. I'm not sure what your opinion on motion controls are but I'll certainly be using those with Arms. It looks like it would be a ton of fun to play but I'd probably have to take a break every fifteen minutes or so. Can you imagine online matches? That is, if I get the online service.
Okay, well I'm done talking your ear off. Are you excited for the Switch? If so, which games are you most excited for?
